The Back Nine Combo Option allows early morning weekend Permanent Time groups to play the back nine of the 18-Hole Course followed by our 9-Hole Course. Ten tee times from 5:30 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. are available under this option.
This gives foursomes more options at the Permanent Time Drawing. For each weekend day we will have the 51 traditional tee times that start off the first hole between 5:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. noon. In addition, we have ten "Back Nine Combo" tee times that start on the tenth hole of the 18-hole course between 5:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. The "Back Nine Combo" times play holes 10 through 18 on the 18-Hole Course and then play the separate 9-Hole Course.
There are advantages and disadvantages to this option. The advantage is that this doubles the number of tee times available before 7:00 a.m. This could be attractive to a group that draws late in the lottery and might otherwise be forced to pass.
There are several disadvantages. Play will will begin on hole #10 every week. While we will do our best to keep playing moving, the pace of play will be slower on the second nine (the 9-Hole Course). We will also try to avoid delays between nines, but it is likely that there will be some wait to begin play on the second nine, as we integrate Permanent Time foursomes with play on the 9-Hole Course. There is also the difference in styles of holes on the two courses, particularly on the greens. The greens on the 9-hole course putt slower and have less severe breaks.
Green fees will be 50% of the green fee for the 18-Hole Course plus the green fee for the 9-Hole Course. Cart fees are $18 per rider for 18-holes, $10 per rider for 9-holes.
