"Legends of the Links"

In 1992, the Glen Ellyn Recreation Commission created a program to honor individuals who had made unique contributions to the Village Links of Glen Ellyn. This program was titled "Legends of the Links". Ed Posh was the inaugural "legend". Ed was inducted into the "Legends of the Links" in 1992, on the 25th Anniversary of the opening of the golf course.

Since then, several others have been recognized for their role in the history of the Village Links. Each member of the "Legends of the Links" has a plaque that hangs in the Village Links clubhouse. The list of Legends includes:

The Glen Ellyn Recreation Commission periodically adds new individuals to the "Legends of the Links". Letters of nomination should include the accomplishments that one feels merits consideration as a "Legend of the Links".
