We do our best to keep you posted on conditions leading up to opening the course for the season. Course Opening 2008 Hardy & Shore Win Spring Scramble - April 5 Dan Hardy & Daryl Shore won the low gross division while Reis Kayser & Dan Krebsbach took first place in the low net division of the 2008 Spring Scramble on Saturday April 5. Spring Scramble Results Haugen & Hickman Win Spring Chapman - April 6 Greg Haugen & Mike Hickman shot a one under par 71 in the first ever Spring Chapman on Sunday April 6. Tony Zaccaria holed out from 169 yards on the 18th hole for an eagle two but came up one stroke shy of tying the winning gross score. David Dykstra and his partner Monty Abbott won the net division. Spring Chapman Results 32nd Annual "Have One On Us" Friday June 13 & Saturday June 14 This is it! Our 32nd annual customer appreciation days. We thank you for supporting the Village Links and we throw in more than $40,000 in prizes and giveaways to make this an event that you don't want to miss. Participants in the three one day "Have One On Us" golf tournaments are eligible to win great prizes that include 100 "Keys to the Links", 2009 Golf Passes and tons more. Between first tee Free Beverage Coupons, Hamburgers or Hot Dogs for "Hit-the-Green" contest winners, and buckets of driving range balls for the "Driving Accuracy Contest" winners, it is impossible to walk away without something - all at no extra charge. There is a free 9-Hole Junior Tournament on Friday. Friday night there is a Long Drive Contest, followed by Putting and Chipping Contests on Saturday. The Driving Range is free Friday evening and all day on Saturday.
The "Have $One On Us" Cookout Tent serves burgers, brats and hot dogs Friday evening during the Long Drive Contest, and all day on Saturday. But here's the catch - each item in the tent is priced at just $1!

Monday June 16, 2008 Ryan Grassell of Chesterton, Indiana was Medalist with a 36-hole score of 75-73 148 while qualifying for the US Junior Amateur. Theodore Lederhausen captured the second spot in the championship for boys age 17 and younger. The course played 7072 yards, par 72.
US Amateur Qualifying Brad Lipsky of La Canada, CA led all qualifiers with a four under par 138 in a 36-hole qualifying for the US Amateur. Ninety top area golfers with USGA handicap indexes of 2.4 or better entered the 36-hole qualifying round for the right to play in the 2008 US Amateur Championship.
