Touring the Links - September 2008

For the fifteenth year, we celebrate nice autumn golf weather with special events, special prices and special giveaways. We call it Fall Fest - Eight Weeks of Fun in the Fall! It really is the best time of year to play golf!  Details On Fall Fest 2008

Congratulations to Jay Becker who won his second Glen Ellyn Open with an even par 72. Mary Ellyn Martin won the Women’s Glen Ellyn Open with a 78. James Maxwell won Men’s Low Net Field with a net 63. Christel Gallagher won Women’s Low Net Field with a net 70. Congratulations to all of our 2008 Champions.

Dan Soehren won the 2008 Village Links Junior Golf Championship with a 27-hole score of 118. Ken Kusman won the 2008 Senior Championship with an 83. Becky and Dave Roscich shot a combined gross score of 159 to win the 2008 Husband & Wife Championship for the second consecutive season.

The June survey brought us thousands of suggestions. Your feedback shapes our plans in both the short and long term. We have always relied on golfer feedback to shape ongoing changes to the facility. An ongoing survey program just gives us more formal feedback to work with. THANK YOU!

The final day to play the 18-hole course in 2008 will be Sunday November 9. The 9-hole course remains open through Sunday December 7. After December 7, the 9-hole course is open on temporary tees and greens all winter.
