"Have One On Us" began in 1977 as the Village Links celebrated its 10th Anniversary. It was so much fun that we have continued it every year since as our annual customer appreciation days. 2009 marks our 33rd "Have One On Us" celebration.We thank you for supporting the Village Links and we throw in more than $50,000 in prizes and giveaways to make this an event that you don't want to miss. Participants in one of the three "Have One On Us" golf tournaments are eligible to win great prizes that include 100 "Keys to the Links". Between first tee Free Beverage Coupons, Hamburgers or Hot Dogs for "Hit-the-Green" contest winners, and buckets of driving range balls for the "Driving Accuracy Contest" winners, it is impossible to walk away without something - all at no extra charge. There is a free 9-Hole Junior Tournament on Friday. Friday night there is a Long Drive Contest, followed by Putting and Chipping Contests on Saturday. The Driving Range is free Friday evening and all day on Saturday. Croquet! New this year is croquet - yes, croquet! The back yard favorite comes to the Village Links circle drive practice green. Friday Evening its Family Croquet, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. during the Family Cookout. Adult Croquet will be held on Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There is no charge to play Croquet during "Have One On Us". Try it. It's Fun! The "Have One On Us" Cookout Tent serves burgers, brats and hot dogs Friday evening during the Long Drive Contest, and all day on Saturday. Everything has a special "Have $One On Us" price. Iced cold soft drinks are just one dollar. Hot Dogs are just $1. Bratwurst and Burgers? $1. Draught Beer? $1. More than 1000 customers participate in "Have One On Us" making it our most popular event. It is two days of fun that you will not want to miss.
