Back To U.S. Women's Open Sectional Qualifying News U.S. Women's Open Sectional Qualifying Monday June 11, 2007 The field for the Village Links Sectional includes several medalists from the 16 Local Qualifyings held across the United States in May 2007. Stacey Tate, an amateur from New Zealand won the Camby, Indiana Local Qualifying at Heartland Crossing Golf Links with a 72. Laura Korus of Parker Colorado was the medalist at the Scottsdale, Arizona Local Qualifying played at The Mirabel Club, shooting a 71. Claudia Pilot, an amateur from Austin, Minnesota was co-medalist with a 75 at the Local Qualifying in Independence, Minnesota, Minnesota, played at Windsong Farm. Stephanie George of Myerstown, Pennsylvania was co-medalist with a 73 at the Local Qualifying in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania at the Kennett Golf & Country Club. Kellee Booth of McKinney, Texas, Annie Giangrasso of Overland Park, Kansas and Jin Hyun Kim from Korea were co-medalists with scores of 75 in the Local Qualifying played at Blue Hills Country Club in Kansas City, Missouri. Kristina Wong, an amateur from Vestal, New York was co-medalist with a score of 71 at the Local Qualifying played at Imperial Golf Club, Naples, Florida.
