Michael Schachner, a junior on the men's golf team at Duke University, scored a hole-in-one on the 204 yard par 3 17th hole. The ace dropped Schachner to four under par and allowed him to grab one of the four available spots in the 2006 Cialis Western Open at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Lemont, IL July 6-9, 2006. Schachner was co-medalist in the Western Open Pre-Qualifying at the Village Links on June 28, with a course record tying 67.
