2006 Western Open Qualifying Western Open Pre-Qualifying - Wednesday June 28 Western Open Qualifying - Monday July 3
This is the 25th time that the Village Links has hosted the Qualifying for the Western Open. Western Open Qualifying Monday July 3 Village Links of Glen Ellyn 18-Holes Sixty-one golfers are set to compete for four spots in the 2006 the Western Open General Qualifying. Fifty golfers advanced to the Quailifying by scoring 76 or better in the June 28 Pre-Qualifying at the Village Links. Those fifty golfers will be joined by eleven national touring professionals who were exempt from pre-qualifying. Pairings - Western Open Qualifying
Western Open Pre-Qualifying Wednesday June 28 Village Links of Glen Ellyn 18-Holes Pairings - Pairings are provided courtesy of the Illinois PGA. Scores - Results will be posted here continuously throughout the competition The low fifty scores and ties in the 18-hole Prequalifying will advance to the Western Open Qualifying at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn on Monday July 3, 2006. The field for the July 3 Western Open Qualifying will consist of the 50 low scores and ties from the Prequalifying, plus any members of the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour.
Australian Greg Chalmers was co-medalist at the the 2004 Western Open Qualifying with a three under par 69.
