The Village Links of Glen Ellyn
Fall Chapman - September 13, 2008

FORMAT: 18 Hole 2 Person Modified Chapman . Both team members tee off. Players switch and hit from partners ball for second shot.  Team then selects the best position between the two second shots and plays the third shot using scramble format.  Team continues to use scramble format until the ball is holed.

ENTRY FEES: $25.00 per person plus applicable green fee.

TEE TIMES: 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM (Approximately)

ELIGIBILITY: Open to any golfer with a USGA handicap.

SIGN UP : Sign up in the clubhouse or by calling 630-469-8180.

ENTRY DEADLINE : Saturday, September 6, 2008.

SCORING: Team captain shall record the Gross Score for each hole. Team handicap will be computed by taking one half of the total team handicap divided by 2, rounded to the nearest tenth. Team handicap shall be deducted from the gross score to determine net score.

SPECIAL FORMAT RULES: Scramble Team players may lift, clean, and place the ball within one grip length of where selected shot lay, no nearer the hole, through the green. Ball must be placed in similar condition of selected shot (i.e. selected shot in rough, ball placed in rough, etc.). On the putting green, players may place the ball within one putter head length of where selected shot lay, no nearer the hole.

PRIZES: All team prizes shall be in the form of Golf Shop gift certificates, redeemable for golf shop merchandise only. Prizes will be awarded to the top gross and net finishers. One dozen Nike One golf balls will be awarded to the person closest to the pin on hole #17. One dozen Nike One golf balls will be awarded to the person with the longest drive in the fairway on hole #4.

TIES: All ties will be paid equally.
