Plannning Begins on Improvements
to Clubhouse and Site Facilities
On Monday January 9, 2012 the Glen Ellyn Village Board hired architects and engineers to design improvements to the Village Links clubhouse and site facilities. Golf course architect Garrett Gill of River Falls, WI, building architect Craig Pryde of PPK Architects, Glen Ellyn, IL and engineer Dwayne Gilliam of V3, Woodridge, IL will immediately begin working to develop a detailed design. We will keep you posted on their progress.

Golf Course Superintendent Chris Pekarek is experimenting with vermicomposting. This small experiment is part of our ongoing effort to be environmentally responsible, and could help us substantially reduce the amount of waste we send to landfills by converting food waste into fertilizer.
