U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying Monday June 4
The Village Links will host a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying Monday June 4. This 36-hole qualifying will begin at 7:30 am. A field of about 25-40 players is expected to play for 2-3 spots in the U.S. Open. The USGA has not yet assigned players to a specific qualifying site. We will post pairings here as soon as we receive them. The Village Links is one of 13 Sectional Qualifying sites. Eleven Sectional Qualifyings will be held in the U.S. on June 4. The other two qualifyings are in Japan and the U.K. This will be the fifth time the Village Links has hosted a U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying (1985, 1991, 1995, 2005). Memorial Day Weekend Tee Times
Tee times are now being accepted for Memorial Day weekend. Phone the Village Links Pro Shop at 630-469-8180 to make a reservation. Tee times are always made available 28-days (four weeks) in advance.

Plannning Begins on Improvements
to Clubhouse and Site Facilities
On Monday January 9, 2012 the Glen Ellyn Village Board hired architects and engineers to design improvements to the Village Links clubhouse and site facilities. Golf course architect Garrett Gill of River Falls, WI, building architect Craig Pryde of PPK Architects, Glen Ellyn, IL and engineer Dwayne Gilliam of V3, Woodridge, IL will immediately begin working to develop a detailed design. We will keep you posted on their progress.
