Date: Monday June 16, 2008                            

Format: This is a one-day event with junior golfers playing 36 holes at scratch. Low Qualifiers will advance to the 2008 USGA Junior Amateur at Shoal Creek in Shoal Creek, Alabama July 21-26, 2008.

Qualifying: There are about 65 qualifyings for this event held across the United States. Approximately four golfers from the Village Links will advance to the national championship, with the actual number of those qualifying set by the USGA.

Eligibility: Male amateurs who have not reached their 18th birthday by midnight of the date specified in the USGA entry blank, and who have USGA handicap indexes not exceeding 6.4 strokes may enter.

              Age Limit: max: 17                    Index Limit: max: 6.4

Field: The field is approximately 90 players.

Starting Times: Tee-times will be e-mailed and posted on the Chicago District Golf Association CDGA website 10-14 days prior to the event.
