    Junior Lessons

The Village Links Junior Lesson Program offers a choice of Half Day Junior Golf Camps, All Day Junior Golf Camps, and Advanced Junior Golf Camps. Junior Golf Camps are single day packages for boys and girls ages 8 & Up. We recommend that juniors with little or no experience start in Half Day Junior Golf Camps. Both All Day Junior Golf Camps and Half Day Junior Golf Camps are limited to the first 12 juniors to register. The 2026 schedule is posted below.

Please take note of the following: Collared shirts recommended, tee shirts are acceptable, no tank tops. Your camper will be outdoors, please apply sunscreen if needed, water bottles and hats are encouraged. Drop off and pick up will take place at the circle drive next to the driving range. Instructors will meet all camp participants outside the front golf entrance near the driving range.

  • All Day Junior Golf Camps

    $95.00 fee includes:

    1. Concentrated instruction in all areas of the game
    2. Unlimited range balls during each camp
    3. Lunch
    4. 9 holes of professionally supervised golf

    Recommended equipment for All Day Junior Golf Camps are starter or full sets of clubs. The Village Links will provide equipment for students who do not yet own clubs.

    All Day camps run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The All Day Junior Golf Camp consists of instruction at 3 stations throughout the day. Juniors will be able to learn and practice putting, chipping and full swing before going out on the golf course to learn rules of play, rules of etiquette and course management (strategy). The juniors in the golf camps will be taught and supervised by a member of the Village Links Professional Staff the entire day. Lunch including a hot dog, chips and soft drink will be provided. Juniors may bring snacks as this is a long day.

    Need Clubs? We carry starter sets from Tour Edge. Ask one of our friendly Pro Shop staff members for all the details. Professional club fitting is available free of charge - ask for details.

  • Half Day Junior Golf Camps

    $65.00 fee includes:

    1. Concentrated instructional in all areas of the game
    2. Fun activities and games that complement and nurture golf skills
    3. Unlimited range balls during each camp
    4. A free 9 hole round for every camp attended. Free rounds may be used on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday before 2:00 PM or any day after 6:30 PM excluding holidays and must be accompanied by an adult (age 21 & older).

    Recommended equipment for Half Day Junior Camps includes a wood, a #5 iron, a #9 iron and a putter. The Village Links will provide equipment for students who do not yet own clubs.

  • Advanced Junior Golf Camps

    The Advanced Junior Golf Camp is a qualification-only, full-day program for experienced juniors who are ready to transition to 18-hole play while sharpening advanced skills, course management, and competitive readiness.

    It runs 8:30 AM–3:00 PM, featuring 90 minutes of structured instruction followed by a supervised 18-hole round with on-course coaching. Participants must complete at least one All Day Camp and demonstrate strong etiquette, pace of play, rules knowledge, and the readiness to benefit from advanced instruction.

    Enrollment is capped at 8 students with 1 instructor to ensure high-quality coaching and supervision. Cost is $119 per student and includes lunch at the halfway house (hot dog/brat/hamburger, chips, and a Gatorade or bottled water) during the round.

  • Junior Lesson Staff

    All Junior Lessons are conducted by members of the Village Links PGA Professional Staff under the direction of Mike Campbell, PGA Director of Golf and Vince Crovetti, PGA Head Golf Professional.

  • Permanent Times

    The Village Links offers weekend permanent starting times from early April until the end of August. Tee Times begin at 5:30 AM and are assigned by lottery. To qualify for the lottery drawing, foursomes have to pay all fees by 5:00 PM on Sunday, March 1st, 2026. The drawing will take place in the Blue Heron Room on Wednesday, March 4th @ 7:30 PM.

  • Adult Group Lessons

    Evening Group Lessons for Adult Beginners are offered in 3 concentrated 60-minute sessions. The lessons cover the basic concepts of the game of golf. Students will be taught the fundamentals of full shots, chipping, putting, and sand shots. They will be taught how to practice these shots on their own. Each class will be limited to 6 students and all classes will be conducted by the Village Links Golf Professional staff. The cost is $89 for the three lesson series.

  • Resident Cards

    Residents of Incorporated Glen Ellyn may apply for a resident card for $20 annually ($10 before March 15), receive discounts of up to 35% off regular rates, and book tee times up to 29 days in advance after 2:00 PM.

  • VIP Cards

    Frequent golfers who are not residents of Glen Ellyn are encouraged to purchase a VIP card for the season. Besides a 20% discount on non-resident green fees, VIP members also receive a 10% discount on regularly priced pro shop merchandise.
