    Welcome to the Village Links

It’s the subtle differences that make all the difference at The Village Links of Glen Ellyn.

The Village Links of Glen Ellyn is a Village owned golf course in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, located just 25 miles west of Chicago. We offer 27 holes of golf, extensive practice facilities, and year round dining at Reserve 22. Open daily Dawn to Dusk.

Our top-rated, 7,200 yard championship 18-hole course is one of the elite layouts in the Midwest, having hosted 48 USGA and PGA Tour Qualifying events. Our regulation length 9-hole course is ideal for the serious golfer as well as casual play.

Extensive practice facilities include a 40 station grass tee driving range, two chipping greens with a greenside bunker, and three putting greens to practice or warm up before your round. A staff of 6 PGA golf professionals offers a wide variety of game improvement including one of the areas best junior programs.

Our recently renovated clubhouse is home to Reserve 22 restaurant, bar and banquets. The culinary expressions of our Chef highlight a cozy 66-seat dining room with a fireplace and spectacular outdoor patio, both with beautiful views of the golf course. After dinner, unwind at our 30-seat bar with 13 large HD-TV's. Menu choices include sandwiches, soups and salads, as well as pasta, fish and steak choices. We serve fresh, organic produce grown on site, in season.
Our first class facilities and above and beyond customer service make The Village Links of Glen Ellyn a great choice to host your golf outing. Whether your outing is for your company, your charity or any other special reason, we can accommodate from 16 to 216 players.

The Village Links has also won numerous environmental awards. We have been participating in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program since 1991 and were the first public golf course in the United States to be named a "Certified Wildlife Sanctuary Golf Course."

Happy Hour pricing on greens fees is a great way to experience the Village Links with special pricing during one hour each day.

We offer 27 holes of championship golf:

  • Our 18 hole layout features A-4 bent greens along with L-93 bent fairways and tees
  • Our nine-hole course is a regulation course, formerly part of the original 18 holes until an addition in the mid-1970’s.
  • We’re open to the public and offer membership options.

Setting the pace, in more ways than one.

In the early 1990’s, a growing interest in conservation and the environment prompted the Links to join Audubon International’s Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses.

The Village Links became the first public course in the world and the seventh golf course overall to become fully certified as a Wildlife Sanctuary.

Involvement in this program helped The Village Links to diversify its landscaping and management plans, adding greatly to the beauty of the course.

In the 1990’s, the Village Links and Golf Course Superintendent Tim Kelly and his staff were recognized with a number of national and regional awards for environmental excellence.

In 1979, the Village Links developed a program called KEEP PACE, encouraging golfers to keep up with the group ahead of them.

Village Links golfers embraced the new program and made the Links the fastest playing course in the United States. KEEP PACE became the most successful pace of play program ever devised and is used in some form at thousands of golf courses nationwide

Our property has mature trees and is well-landscaped. The property serves the Village of Glen Ellyn as a storm water detention area, absorbing up to 30 percent of all of the Village’s storm water during heavy rains.

Located in Glen Ellyn, a Western Suburb 22 miles from Chicago, the Village Links is less than two miles from I-355, and I-88.
