"You guys are all about golf."

We really appreciate the above quote. And while we feel strongly that our food service and other amenities are right up there with our golf, we understand the sentiment. The quote is not attributed to any one person – we hear that all the time. Thank you!

Our course is one of most well-maintained in the area, giving it a “country club” feel. Open daily Dawn to Dusk.

Golfers surely appreciate the attention-to-detail we put into the course. Our modern layout features 118 bunkers and 22 lakes, with water coming into play on 15 of the 18 holes. Our greens, constructed to USGA specifications, are large and rolling, featuring A-4 bentgrass. Fairways and tees are generous, contoured L-93 bentgrass.

The property is particularly beautiful in the fall months, when the abundance of tree species display a variety of vivid color, and when the bentgrass thrives. This course closes in early December, and re-opens in Spring. Aeration to the greens takes place in early October; fairway/tee aeration in mid-to-late September, all accomplished with little to no interruption to your enjoyment of your rounds.

You can't beat this public golf course. Village Links dominates any western suburbs public course! Prices are reasonable, and the place is well maintained. The fairways are really nice on the 9 hole course, and the 18 hole course is even better!

— Tiffany P., Lombard

In 2004, Garrett Gill, son of our original architect, designed a complete renovation of the 18-hole course.

While much of the original routing was retained, every hole is notably different. Every green, tee, fairway and sand bunker was rebuilt. Sixteen water hazards were repositioned; 400 trees were removed to allow the addition of 300 yards from the back tees.

The biggest change was the new championship greens — larger, faster and more challenging than the original greens.

The new greens give golfers a sense of the modern championship conditions routinely found on the PGA Tour, and the added challenge helps golfers improve their game. Typically three clubs deep, the new greens require more thoughtful approach shots. While the intricate putting contours can be treacherous, the smooth A-4 bentgrass putting surfaces make it easier to sink long putts.

One of the best courses in the area. It's well designed and well maintained with a friendly staff, newly expanded restaurant, and reasonable prices. The 18-hole course is especially challenging with large, tiered greens. Both the 18 and 9 are beautifully landscaped with picture-postcard vistas throughout. Nice extras are a spacious range and a free practice facility with two greens and a bunker.

Our top-rated 7,200-yard championship 18-hole course has long been recognized as one of the elite layouts in the Midwest.

The course has hosted more than 40 top tournaments and qualifyings, including the 1986 Illinois Open Championship, 25 Western Open Qualifiers and five U.S. Open Sectional Qualifiers.

The regulation length 9-hole course was the front nine of the original 18-hole layout and is ideal for casual play.
