In order to make the online booking process smoother and to increase the usability of the Village Links app, we have worked with our vendor partners to provide useful features in the online booking engine. Now, you may make use of the Buddy System and Recent Player history to book your playing partners at their entitled rate without having to call the course.
Simply log in to the online booking system. From the drop down menu, select "Buddy Management". Here you can search for, add, and remove players from your buddy list. Search using a name or Links Card number, then select the player to send a buddy request via e-mail. Once they have accepted, you may book them with you at any time. When you go to book, there will be a drop down list for the second player. You can select any of your confirmed buddies, or any of your 10 most recent playing partners. Once selected, the online booking system will set their rate to that which they are entitled to. This will now allow you to check in from the app prior to your tee time and your partner will receive the correct rate for you either to pay together or separately.
As always, it is our first duty to provide as frictionless an experience as possible for you, our valued customers and we hope that this new functionality will make golfing with us even simpler in these strange times.
